Pure Dermatology is a full-service medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology clinic located in Southwest Austin, Texas. Husband and wife team, Chelsey Straight, MD, FAAD, and Christopher Chu, MD, FAAD, founded the practice to deliver comprehensive skin care to all ages. Dr. Straight is double board-certified in dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery, and Dr. Chu holds double-board certifications in dermatology and dermatopathology.
Extensive training and experience enable Dr. Chu and Dr. Straight to provide complete dermatologic care in a single, convenient location. For example, for patients with skin cancer, this means everything, including the skin exam to identify a concerning lesion, biopsy, pathologic interpretation, and ultimately surgical management are provided under one roof by one team.
