New Leaf Catering is owned and operated by Scott Robertson. Scott was born and raised in Palm Springs, CA and graduated from Palm Springs High School. He earned a degree in Business Administration from Humboldt State University in 1987, and opened the Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage as Sous Chef in 1988. He also worked at the Wyndham Palm Springs as Chef de Cuisine, and was Executive Chef for Indian Wells Country Club, Chaparral Country Club, and Avondale Country Club, and Executive Sous Chef for Indian Ridge Country Club. In the early 1990s he cooked for Presidents Carter, Reagan, and Ford at the Mission Inn in Riverside. His experience as Executive Chef at Eisenhower Medical Center and Heart Hospital of the Desert led him to open New Leaf Catering ten years ago. His catering operation is located in Cathedral City along with his restaurant Just Soup.
