PA Tamez pursued a career in medicine because he grew up in a strong, medically-oriented environment and he saw firsthand the positive effects of the medical profession. Becoming a PA reinforced his passion for helping others. PA Tamez chose to work in his specialty bec PA Tamez was born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Brownsville, Texas. He is married with two children. In his free time, he is interested in exercise, martial arts and reading. Clinically, he is particularly interested in helping his patients manage diabetes and high c
